Brewing Guide of Himalaya Green Tea
Brewing Green Tea
When green tea is manufactured in the tea factory, the oxidation process is not applied. Therefore, we have to be careful about the water temperature while brewing a perfect cup of green tea. Green tea needs no more than 80°C water. The perfect water temperature for brewing green tea is between 70°C and 80°C.
How much time do you need to wait for a perfect cup of tea?

Once you rinse your teapot and pour water into the teapot with 2–3 grams of green tea, wait for 2–3 minutes, then strain the tea into your cup. Yes, your tea is ready. Enjoy!
However, the above instructions explain how to make a cup of green tea, but that alone is not enough to make a perfect cup of tea. For example, if you use 4 grams of green tea and water hotter than 90°C, you will not enjoy the green tea because it will become too bitter. So, never forget to use water between 70°C and 80°C. If you find the tea too strong or bitter, you can try using only 2 grams of green tea and steeping it for only 1.5 minutes before straining. You can make the tea lighter and sweeter by using a smaller quantity of green tea while brewing.

You can brew the same green tea a second and even a third time. When you brew the same tea for the second time, it is necessary to steep it for a longer time (at least 3 minutes). In the same way, you can steep it even longer when preparing the third infusion of the same tea.
How Tea Himalayan Green Tea Is Processed During the Monsoon Season

The journey of fresh green tea begins in the lush tea gardens during the monsoon season, when tea leaves are carefully plucked and transported to the factory for processing. Every step is handled with care to preserve the natural freshness, colour, aroma, and flavour of the tea.

At the factory, the freshly harvested tea leaves undergo controlled withering to reduce excess moisture and prepare them for the next stage. The leaves are then processed through specialized machinery for rolling and shaping, helping develop their characteristic appearance and flavour.

Next, the leaves pass through an enzyme inactivation process, which helps prevent oxidation and preserve the natural green colour of green tea. Finally, the leaves are dried in a drying machine to achieve the desired moisture level, ensuring better quality and shelf life.
Once drying is complete, the green tea is ready for sorting, grading, and packaging. From fresh monsoon harvest to the finished product, each stage plays an important role in producing quality green tea with a fresh aroma, natural colour, and distinctive taste.
