About Tea
About Tea
White tea is crafted through a delicate and minimally processed method that preserves its natural flavor and aroma. The process begins with withering, where fresh tea leaves lose about 70% of their moisture, becoming soft and pliable. Next comes gentle rolling, which lightly shapes the leaves and releases their natural juices. The leaves are then allowed to ferment briefly for around half an hour, developing subtle flavor notes. Finally, the leaves undergo careful drying, locking in their freshness and quality. This simple yet refined process results in a light, smooth, and refreshing tea, known for its purity and elegance.
Brewing Method
Brewing Method
Water Temperature:
Use water between 70°C and 80°C (not boiling). Too hot water can damage the delicate leaves and make the tea bitter.
Tea Quantity:
Use about 1–2 teaspoons ( 2-3 grams) of white tea leaves per cup (200–250 ml) of water.
Steeping Time:
Let the tea steep for 2–5 minutes, depending on how light or strong you prefer it.
Method:
Add the tea leaves to a pot or cup, pour the hot water over them, and let it steep. Strain and enjoy.
White tea can also be re-steeped 2–3 times, with slightly longer steeping each time for a richer experience.

Silver Needle tea and White tea belong to the same category and undergo a similar minimal processing method. The key difference lies in quality and selection. Silver Needle uses only the finest buds, while White tea may include leaves. Today, White tea is gaining popularity for its natural, delicate characteristics and gentle flavor.
